In the past year Joe has worked as a business and economic development consultant for several private business enterprises as well as the Town or Shorter in Macon County, Alabama. Joe has been extensively involved with entrepreneurs and small business owners in helping them to expand their markets in Alabama. As a business graduate and small businessman for 20 years, Joe understands the free enterprise system and the value of hard work. After spending 17 years in his family's business, Alabama Contract Sales, Incorporated and working on projects like the seating for the expansions of the University of Alabama's, Bryant Denny Stadium - Joe has used his lifelong business skills in the role as consultant to help others. Joe has also worked extensively with several business organizations that want to tie the value of environmental stewardship into a competitive edge in doing business.
